Since June 3, 2024, we have obtained MDR approval for all our 10 product groups. This is a significant milestone for our company and demonstrates our commitment to the highest quality standards. Our MDR certificate is available for download in the "Service" section.
The art of GOLD SOLDERING
As one of only a few manufactureres of endoscopes we are able to manufacture endoscopes with our special technique- the gold soldering process.
Gold soldering is making it possible to connect the two components, metal and glas, without glue. As you know the reason number one for leakage is the glue that manufacturers use at the distal and proximal end. Due to aggressive processing methods the glue becomes soft and water and other liquids enter the endoscope and worsen the image. Many years ago, we decided to bypass this difficulty and focus on the gold soldering technique. Since then we are able to produce longlasting and stable endoscopes with a gold soldered tip and proximal end to avoid all risks of leakage and damages due to aggressive sterilization methods.
